Spamming
Hostile and insulting interaction between Internet users.
Flaming
The use of electronic communication to bully a person, typically by sending messages of an intimidating or threatening nature.
Cyber-Bullying
A written false statement that is damaging to a person’s reputation.
Libel
A spoken false statement that is damaging to a person’s reputation.
Slander
Suppressing speech, public communication or other information which may be considered objectionable, harmful, sensitive, or politically incorrect.
Censoring
Creations of the mind, such as:
- Inventions
- Literary & artistic works
- Designs
- Symbols
- Images used in commerce
Intellectual Property
Unauthorized use of reproduction of another’s work.
Piracy
Exclusive legal right to reproduce, publish, sell, or distribute the matter and form of something (as literary, musical, or artistic work)
Copyright
Legally binding agreement that specifies the term of use for an application. Most computers licensing allows you to run the program on only one machine and to make copies of the software only for backup purposes.
