The trail we leave behind every time we use or post to the internet which is never truly deleted or erased Can be what others post about us, too
Scam
Tricking someone to steal personal information or money
Identity theft
A crime in which your information is stolen and used for criminal activity
Phishing
Sending phony emails, messages, or links in hopes of obtaining personal information/money
Phishing Scam Features
“ Too good to be true,”sense of urgency, typose, asking to verify account information, unknown sender, suspicious link, asking for personal information, generic greeting
Clickjacking
Clicking on a seemingly harmless link, but being redirected to an infected website, a phishing site, ot online scam
Online predator
Internet users (usually adults acting like kids) who are dangerous to a child online and mask their identity
Cyberbullying
The use of electronic communication to bully a person, typically by sending messages of an intimidating or threatening nature. This can be through social media, texting, and much more.
Bully
Someone who repetitively abuses, harasses, or intimidates another person.
Victim
The person who faces the abuse,harassment, or intimidation of a bully.
Empathy
To imagine the feelings that someone else is experiencing.
Upstander
Someone who witnesses bullying and does something.
Bystander
Someone who sees bullying but does nothing to help.
