Esophagus
This digestive organ lies just posterior to the liver.
Stomach
A sheet of connective tissue which attaches to and anchors the inside convex curve of the stomach.
Lesser Omentum
A sheet of connective tissue which attaches to and anchors the outside concave curve of the stomach.
Greater Omentum
A donut like smooth muscle found at the posterior end of the stomach
Separates the stomach from the duodenum
Pyloric Sphincter Muscle
This structure is a sac containing green bile, located underneath and attached to the middle lobe of the liver.
Gall Bladder
The duct which transports bile to the duodenum
Common Bile Duct
This is the largest gland in the body, located between the stomach and diaphragm
Liver
This organ is a long, flat, finger-like projection to the right of the stomach.
Functions to store blood
Spleen
An organ which has a right and left lobe, and produces digestive enzymes.
Pancreas
The anterior portion of the small intestine, just posterior to the stomach.
Duodenum
The portion of the digestive system between the stomach and the large intestine.
Small Intestine
This is the sheet of connective tissue attached to the intestines
Mesentery
This structure is a finger-like projection of the large intestine at the junction of the large and small intestines
Cecum
The intestines posterior to the cecum. It is larger in diameter than the small intestines
