Inflammation of the liver. Caused by type a, b, c virus
Gallbladder
Small sac under the liver; stores bile.
Dysentery
Painful, inflamed intestines commonly caused by bacterial infection.
Peptic Ulcer
Open sore in the lining of the stomach or duodenum.
Pancreatitis
Inflammation of the pancreas.
Entercolitis
Inflammation of the small and large intestines.
Duodenum
First part of the small intestine (measures 12 in long).
Pancreas
Organ under the stomach; produces insulin and enzymes.
Hyperbilirubinemia
High levels of bilirubin in the blood. Yellowing of the skin
Colon
Portion of the large intestine consisting of the ascending, transverse, descending, and sigmoid segments.
Ileum
Third part of the small intestine.
Irritable Bowel Syndrome
Group of gastrointestinal symptoms but without abnormalities in the intestines. (abdominal pain, bloating, diarrhea, constipation)
Cecum
First part of the large intestine.
Hemorrhoids
Swollen, twisted, varicose veins in the rectal region.
Hematochezia
Passage of fresh, bright red blood from the rectum/ stool
