Alimentary ( digest and absorb) and Accessory.
The Alimentary involves what parts of the body?
The mouth, pharynx, esophagus, stomach, small intestine, and the large intestine
What are the accessory digestive organs?
Teeth, Tongue, Gallbladder, Salivary Glands, Liver, and Pancreas.
What are the functions of the digestive system?
Ingestion, Motility, Secretion, Digestion, Absorption and Elimination.

Parasympathetic Activates the system and Sympathetic Inhibits the system.

Myenteric and Submucosal
What does the Celiac Trunk serve?
The Spleen, The Pancreas, The Stomach and The Liver
The Mesenteric Arteries serve what parts of the body?
The Small and Large Intestine
Superior Mesentery involves what parts of the body?
The Pancreas, Small and Large Intestines
Inferior Mesentery involves what parts of the body?
The Large Intestine Only
What does the Hepatic Portal do?
It delivers nutrient-rich venous blood to the liver.
What are the three enzymes in the stomach?
Amylase, Pepsin, and Lipase
