Where is protein digested?
Stomach + small intestine
What is digested in the small intestine?
Lipids + protein
What is the site of maximum absorption in the digestive system?
Small intestine
When digested, what are lipids broken down into?
Glycerol, fatty acids
What is protein broken down into?
Amino acids
What are carbohydrates broken down into?
Glucose
