Diffine Flashcards
How much solute is dissolved in a SPECIFIC QUANTITY of solvent or solution
Concentration
A solution containing the maximum amount of solute that will dissolve at a certain amount of TEMPERATURE.
Saturated
A molecule that has an UNEVEN distribution of electrical charge.
Polar
An UNSTABLE solution that contains more solute than could usually be dissolved at the temperature.
Supersaturated
The partial charge of the HYDROGEN end of the water cycle.
Positive
A solution containing LESS dissolved solute than the amount that the solvent can hold at that temperature
Unsaturated
A substance that will DISSOLVE in water.
Soluble
The OVERALL charge of a water molecule
Neutral
The partial charge of the OXYGEN end of the water molecule.
Negative
The maximum quantity of substance that will dissolve in a CERTAIN AMOUNT OF WATER at a certain temperature
