What’s the rule when ‘que’ is next to a word starting with a vowel (a, e, i, o, u)?
There is a vowel clash so the ‘que’ gets conjugated to ‘qu’on/qu’ils’ for example
When saying I ‘verb’ something in the past (I bought for example) and the verb begins with a vowel, what’s the rule?
The ‘j’ai’ never conjugates with the verb. e.g J’ai acheté
Je l’ai utilisé=
I used it
(not j’ai l’utilisé)
