Its function
to diagnose system faults primarily, but it also has the ability to upload software onto an alarm panel, and download event logs from an alarm panel for further investigation. Allows alarm panel software updates.

NO CONNECTION (open circuit)
Possible causes are:
The diagnostic module is not connected to the panel – ensure it is correctly plugged into the panel.
The diagnostic module cable is damaged or the wires in the plug are broken – the diagnostic module will need to be sent for repairs.
NO CONNECTION (short circuit)
Possible causes are:
Check for a short circuit on the auxiliary (transducer/sensor) line.
Check the polarity of the pressure circuit wiring. This circuit is polarity sensitive.
BLUE = (–) VE Negative
BROWN = (+) VE Positive
The transducer may be faulty. Replace.
NO SENSOR
This screen will display if the panel cannot detect that a pressure sensor (transducer) is attached.
Possible causes are:
Open circuit on the auxiliary line. Check wiring to transducer.
Blown fuse. Check fuse F4.
Faulty transducer. Replace.
The panel dip switch is set to the correct setting LOP-LHD – check dip switch is correctly set.
