Key feature: Excessive anxiety and worry (apprehensive expectation), occurring more days than not for at least 6 months, about a number of events or activities (such as work or school performance) that is difficult to control

How many criteria are there for Intellectual Developmental Disorder (Intellectual Disability)? What are they? How many are required for diagnosis? What is the required time frame?
3 symptoms; all 3 required; no time frame required but must have occurred during the developmental period (childhood or adolescence)
- ) Deficits in intellectual functioning (includes reasoning, problem solving, planning, abstract thinking, judgement, academic learning, experiential learning)
- ) Deficits in adaptive functioning that result in failure to meet developmental and sociocultural standards for personal independence and social responsibility. Without ongoing support, the adaptive deficits limit functioning in one or more activities of daily life, such as communication, social participation, and independent living across multiple environments, such as home, school, work, and community.
3.) Onset of intellectual and adaptive deficits during the developmental period.
Severity specifier (i.e., mild, moderate, severe, profound) based on adaptive functioning impairments in three domains: Conceptual, social, and practical.
