How can community pharmacies relieve the burden on ED/ GPs in terms of minor ailment?
Many people could just visit a community pharmacies instead of going to the ED/GP- this saves time and resources.

Patients can self treat with OTCs. Empowers individuals to take care of their own health, saves public expenditure on prescription drugs, saves GPs time.

Why doesn’t everyone take this self-care initiative? Why don’t people go and see pharmacists?
Health literacy/ lack of. Up to 1 in 3 adults in the UK do not understand health information so lack the ability to manage their health and well being.
