3) Develops 2+ negative alterations in cognition and mood associated with the traumatic event
4) Experiences 2 + altercations in arousal and reactivity associated with the traumatic event

After being exposed to traumatic event, individuals experience all of the following for a minimum of one month

1) presence of one intrusive symptom, recurrent memories, recurrent dreams, dissociative reactions, or episodes of prolonged distress
2) Individual begins to experience either persistent avoidance of stimuli or negative alterations in cognitions or both.
3) individual experiences alteractions in arousal and reactivity associated with the event.
