What is diabetic nephropathy?
A
Diabetic nephropathy is a serious kidney-related complication of type 1 and 2 diabetes. It causes damage to the the small blood vessels/units in the kidney that filter waste from the blood.

What is insulin?
A
Hormone made in the pancreas.

What does insulin do?
A
It goes into the bloodstream from pancreas, arrives at cell and acts just like a key at the receptors to open the channels of the cell and let glucose in.
