Q

why does type 2 diabetes occur

A

-cells have fewer insulin receptors or theyre faulty and dont respond to insulin

-means that cells(cell membrane) take up less glucose and convert less to glycogen(in the liver)
-means blood conc remains high

The receptors for insulin are faulty and dont produce enough
Means cells dont take up insulin as insulin can the stimulated so insulin doest cause the permeability of cell to increase and Chanel proteins can open
