Inductive reasoning
Reasoning that begins with specific details then moves to generalization
Epithet
Adjective or adjective phrase qualifying a noun by naming a key or important characteristic of the subject
Deductive reasoning
General observation then moves to specific

Used often in advertising.
Ex. Makes u fear what would happen if…
Appeal to ethics
Appeal to a persons image.
Appeal to logic
An appeal to ones ability to reason. “If this is so, then you can conclude this.”
