Hedonistic:
Engaged in the pursuit of pleasure; sensually self-indulgent.
Epigenesis:
In biology, epigenesis is the process by which plants, animals and fungi develop from a seed, spore or egg through a sequence of steps in which cells differentiate and organs form.
Dyad:
Something that consists of two elements or parts.
Egalitarian:
In an egalitarian relationship the benefits, duties, and obligations are equally shared by the relationship partners. An example of an egalitarian relationship is a married couple that equally shares the household duties, child rearing, and financial responsibilities.
Adolescence:
Adolescence is the phase of life between childhood and adulthood, from ages 10 to 19. It is a unique stage of human development and an important time for laying the foundations of good health.
Reciprocal:
Given, felt, or done in return. “she was hoping for some reciprocal comment or gesture”
Turbulent relationship:
A turbulent time, place, or relationship is one in which there is a lot of change, confusion, and disorder.
Intra-individual variability:
Intra-individual variability reflects a transient, within-person change in behavioural performance
