Daughter of brown wanted to go to the closer white school, not allowed and took to court. They ruled that segregated were unconstitutional. ‘Separate but equal’

Prosecuted those who didn’t treat blacks the same
Montgomery bus boycott
Rosa park arrested for not giving seat to white man, lasted a whole year. Boycotted the buses, got community to organise lifts ect.

Showed unity from black community.
Law eventually passed for desegregation.
