How can you determine a country is developed?
- The avarage income of the population is high.
- Has established industries and manufacturing.
- The gouverment is stable, safe and not corrupt.
- Acces to education and health services.
- Life expectancy is high
- home ownership high and people can enjoy freedom and civil rights
How do you know a country is less developed?
- The population can be too low or too high(overpopulation).
- Birth and death rates anr high.
- Unimployment rate is high and depends lots on agriculture
- limited access to health, education, drinking water and sanitation.
- Low life expectency.
- There is political stabillity a lack of security, and some countries are effected by civil war.
What ways of being poor can effect how children grow up?
- They dont have a good education(less job oppurtunities).
- Dont have access to health care.
- being gratefull for small things.
- Can care more about freedom.
- Might get involved in a life of crime.
What is political stability?
A stable political system that is not too corrupt and it is transparent and doesnt change too much. Its reliable, and people in governemnt are accountable for their choices and decisions.

How many people dont have a clean water source?
780 million people dont have access to a clean water source.
Why is having access to clean water important to developing a country?
Because water is used for so many important things and keeps the people healthy. Also without clean water a large amount of that population will have dirty water type diseases.
What is demographics?
Facts that give information about people and the features or attributes of populations.
What is population density?
The number of inhabitats of an area per square km.
What is infant mortality rate?
The number of infants who do not survive their first year per 1000 live births.
What is a literacy rate?
The precentage of a population that can read and write.
What is a GDP (gross domestic product)?
Is a countries product per year divided by the population.
What is an unimployment rate?
The percentage of a population that do not have a job that are willing and able to work.
