Filter feeders that eat plankton, bacteria, and other small organisms.

How can you identify amphioxus from larval lamprey?
A
Amphioxus: a chordate, does not have pharyngeal slits, ocelli, atriopore for filter feeding.
Lamprey: a vertebrate, visible liver and kidney, eyespots, brains, don’t have dorsal hollow nerve tube bc notochord, spinal cord, and brain derive from it.
