What is the fundamental difference between a duty and a responsibility?
The duties of a good citizen revolve around his or her committment to obey the law. A responsibility is an abiding respoect for each of the core beliefs on which democracy is based on this country.
A supreme political authority rests within the people. The peoople hold the soverign power.
A Democracy
Those who rue cannot be help responbile to the will of the people. The government is not held accountable for its policies, nor for how they are being carried out.

-Recognition of the fundamenal worth and dignity of every person. -Respect for the equality of all persons. -Faith in majority rule and resistance upon majority right. -Acceptance of the necessity of compromise. -Insistence upon the widest possible degrree of individual freedom.

This plan was proposed by William Patterson of New Jersey. Called for a one house unicameral legislature This plan called for more keeping the Articles of Confederation and less for getting rid of them entirely.
New Jersey Plan
Connecticut Plan (Great Compromise)
States would be represented equally, and a House, in which representation would be based on a State’s Population
