What is the desktop feature shake?
Minimize all windows that are not being used by clicking and holding the title bar of one window and shaking it with the mouse. Repeat the action to maximize all of the windows.
What is the desktop feature peek?
This allows for the user to look at the desktop throguh their active windows.

What is the desktop feature snap?
This allows for windows to be easily resized by pressing them against different sides of the desktop.
What are gadgets?
Gadgets are small applications, such as games, sticky notes, a calendar, or a clock.
What are charms?
The vertical icons introduced in Windows 8.
What is the fastest method to open up the personalization menu?
Right click a blank area of the desktop and hit personalize.
What are themes?
Preset GUI combinations.
How do you name tile groups in W8?
CLick a blank area and hit ‘Name Groups’. Select the relevant groups and name.
How do you search for an app?
Search for it in the search bar/icon.
In what version of windows was th start button and menu not present?
Windows 8.
How do you customize the start menu in Windows 7?
Right-click an empty section of the taskbar and choose Properties > Start Menu > Customize.
What are jump lists?
A list of tasks unique to that application.

What does task manager keep track of?

What does the details tab do?
From this it is possible to tweak the level of CPU priority for a given process.
What does the services tab do?
It displays all services available and their status.
