What is the purpose of design brief
The brief sets parameters for designer and client. It is a legal document that outlines client and designer obligations. A client is the individual, business or organisation with the design problem. A successful brief will encourage clear and focused communication.
What is the purpose of research
At this stage, the professional designer collects ideas, information and resources. Information is collected for inspiration, investigation and analysis.
Designer participate through various form of research on differing aspects to the project, such like studying and gathering information on the target audience.
