Function

  • Circular hole, smooth and flushed, no irritation, however could slip off the wrist
  • Fixed size so not practical for people with bigger/smaller wrists
  • Impractical for everyday use
  • Small details might be liable to break

Materials/techniques

A
  • Don’t list techniques, focus on one and where it can be seen
  • Some shapes have wire coming off them, creating interesting forms
  • Layers of materials such as resin keeping glitter in place
  • Coloured plastic has been cut into small pieces and collage round the outside of the bracelet creating a mosaic effect
  • Pinheads cut from pin and attached to create 3D effect
  • Plastic had been smoothed and polished to create a sheen on the surface of the bracelet

Visual Impact

A
  • Different eccentric features such as…make in interesting
  • interesting shape of the inside of the bracelet, the circles coming together to form sharper points, is very different from normal jewellery and is very unusual but powerful
  • Small patterns and shapes create visual impact as they invite us to look closer
  • Blue base contrasts with yellow pinheads, creates contrasting colour palette, makes them stand out even more
