Section 708 of the NBCP
Minimum Requirements for Group A Dwellings
Footings shall be of sufficient size and strength to support the load of the dwelling and shall be at least
250 mm thick and 600 mm below the surface of the ground
The live load of the first floor shall be at least

The live load of the second floor shall be at least
