I think Cas Holman uses the Empathise design stage. This is because she empathises for the kids that most toys already have the story written in them.

The toys she makes quote “don’t already have a story built into them” but the kids can make their own story and use there imagination properly. .

She is addressing 2 real world problems. 1, that kids can’t expand their knowledge and imagination because the toys already have a story in them. 2, Some toys have a girl version which is girl and boy stereotypes which is wrong and sexist.

Ideate and Emphasise. He comes up with new ideas and unique things. He also emphasises with the children as he thinks they don’t use their imagination enough as parents are restricting them.
What is so special about Hewon’s playgrounds?
They are made from sustainable things like trees and rocks and they are family fun friendly.

He is addressing that kids don’t get to learn anymore or use their imaginations and his playgrounds do that.
