is the proper choice of materials and method of construction in such a ways as to produce an object or structure that will function effectively, thereby satisfying the purpose it is designed for.
Structural design
artthat does not attempt to represent an accurate depiction of a visual reality but instead use shapes, colours, forms and gestural marks to achieve its effect
Abstract art
a basic element of art that involves light. It is produced when light waves (wavelength) strike an object and are reflected into our eyes. Each light wave has a distinct color.
Color
It gives a three-dimensional feeling to a flat image such as adrawingor a painting.
Perspective
in the context of art, refers to an imaginary line drawn across the picture
Horizon line
It is the location in a linear perspective construction of the observer of the scene being depicted.
station point
defines the point at which all lines perpendicular to the picture plane in the perspective drawing converge.
vanishing point
an observer’s view which gives animpressionof what ishappeningin a situation from the point ofviewof someone who is looking high up and the horizon line is situated very low.
Worm’s Eye View
It is an observer’s view where one is looking from an elevated platform or above the horizon.
