A

A large city on the E side of the sound, there are many houses and buildings, a rail line along shore, WSF pier, and a marina with breakwater. Has a measured mile course, 1 mile NE of town. A dive area is N of the ferry landing, marked by buoys.

A

SW of Edmonds, a high wooded point, turning point for vessels running from Seattle north into Possession Sound and adjoining waters.

A

Low sandy point, 450yds to wooded high lands. tank farm, 1054’ long petroleum pier, lighted range to clear shoals N of wharf, and private fog signal on the S end of wharf.

Meadow Pt

A

East side of Puget Sound nearly opposite Point Monroe, is a low, grassy point with a high tree and brush-covered bluff behind it. A lighted buoy is about 0.2 nm NW.

Shilshole

A

Between Meadow Pt. and West Pt. Has the largest marina in the Seattle area, marina is surrounded by a breakwater with openings on the N and S ends. tower statue. The entrance to the Lake Washington Ship Canal and Locks is south of the marina. The channel is marked by aids and buoys, with a leading light. Single lift bascule rail road bridge at the east portion of the channel.

A

A

S point at the entrance to Port Madison. Long narrow spit hook, bares at low tide.
