Q

Levels of vesicle formation in the skin

A
  • Subcorneal vesicle: stratum corneum forms roof (impetigo or pempigus foliaceous)
  • Suprabasal vesicle: stratum spinosum forms roof (pemphigus vulgaris)
  • Subepidermal vesicle: entire epidermis separates from dermis to form roof (bullous pemphigoid)
