What are the adverse effects of Mupirocin?
stinging

pruiritis

What organisms is Polymyxin B effective against?
gram negative organisms: P aeruginosa, Enterobacter, E.coli
All gram + organisms are resistant.
What organisms is Neomycin active against?
aerobic Gram + and Gram - bacilli: Staph aureus & Ecoli
Is there sensitization associated with Neomycin?
Yes, contact dermatoses as high as 30%
