Systemic conditions: IBD, sarcoidosis
Infections: Streptococcal throat infection, TB
Drugs: Sulphonamides, streptomycin, COCP
Pregnancy
Malignancy: Lymphoma
Idiopathic

What is the management of erythema nodosum?
A
Simple analgesia
Treat underlying cause

What is the treatment for sarcoidosis?
A
None or just symptomatic
Use of steroids if: cardiac, neuro or site threatening eye involvement or hypercalcaemia
