When are you worried about molluscum contagiosum?
- High risk of HIV -> HIV testing
- Ocular / eyelid involvement -> ophtal referral
- At genital area -> GUM referral to exclude other STIs
Antibiotics for acne?
Mild-moderate:
Topical clindamycin + topical benzoyl peroxide/tretinoin for 12 weeks
Moderate-severe:
As above OR
Oral doxycycline/lymecycline + topical benzoyl peroxide/adapalene
Pregnancy:
Oral erythromycin
Abx needs to be given alongside topical anti-inflammatories to avoid abx resistant
Types of melanoma?
- Superficial spreading - most common, young ppl
- Nodular - middle aged, red, oozy, high risk of malignancy
- Lentigo maligna - chronically sun exposed skin, elderly
- Acral lentigus - dark skinned ppl, subungual
Pellagra triad
Dementia, dermatitis, diarrhoea

DM, hypothyroidisim, acromegaly, Cushing’s, PCOS, obesity, Prader Willi - GI cancer
- Drugs
- COCP, nicotinic acid - Familial
