No adverse effects to mother or fetus

Looks like. Acne (2-4mm follicular papules or pustules. Typically on shoulders, upper back, arms I,, chest, and abdomen

Associated with multiple gestation and maternal weight. Gain.
Etiology unknown
Usually nullip third trimester
Doesn’t usually recur
Polymorphous, erythematous, nonfollicular papules, plaques, and sometimes vesicles
Abdomen, can. Spread to upper thighs, breasts, and arms; (Umby sparing)

Rare autoimmune disorder

Second or third trimester
Rash in peri-umbilical region
Lesions are pruritic, urticaria last and vesiculobullous
Immunopathological-complement 3
5-10% fetuses have urticarial, vesicular or bullies lesions
Some association with prem deliveries and SGA

Treat with antihistamines and/or steroids
Sometimes need igG immunoglobulins
