In 1923, Hitler and a friends took over official buildings through the SA

Dr Wolfgang Kapp led 5000 Freikorps into Berlin
The army refused to fire on the Freikorps but the German people led strikes in Berlin.

Germany was unable to pay the reparations for 1922. France became impatient and invaded the Industrial area of the Ruhr
They began taking and stealing what was owed to them in the form of raw materials and lives
What was the consequences of the French invasion of the Ruhr to Germany?
It halted all industrial production devastating Germany economically
It led to the hyperinflation of the 1920s
