They were nobility that betrayed Richard in Bosworth, they could easily betray him aswell.

Showed that GOD wanted him to be king, used PARLIAMENT to support kingship, he MARRIED into yorkist family, he REWARDED his supporters.
How did Henry show that GOD wanted him to be king
Henry’s first move was to be crowned in a formal ceremony. Coronation showed divinity.
How did Henry use PARLIAMENT to support kingship
He used his first parliament to punish his opponents at Bosworth. He also abolished the Titulus Regius which had been passed by Richard III (this made Richard illegitimate anyway).
How did MARRYING into the yorkist family help Henry secure the throne
The marriage united the two feuding factions, especially when Elizabeth gave birth to a healthy heir Arthur late that year.
How did Henry REWARD his supporters to secure the throne
He made Sir Thomas Lovell who resisted Richard treasurer and Sir William Stanley was given the trusted position of Lord Chamberlain of the Royal Household.

He was pretending to be the Earl of Warwick when Henry could actually produce the real Earl of Warwick from the Tower of London.

Margaret sent out agents to try and recruit people in England. Even Sir William Stanley (Chamberlain of the King’s household) was implicated in a plot against Henry. Warbeck also tried to land in deal with 300 soldiers but failed and vented (fled).

Warbeck moved to Scotland. James IV was keen to support Warbeck to make trouble for Henry VII.

Warbeck tried AGAIN to invade this time with 1400 men but was unable to raise support and waddled back to Scotland.

1497 Henry had to raise taxation to fund an army to fight Warbeck, this demand for additional tax provoked the Cornish Rebellion in 1497. (Just leave Henry alone bro 😭)

Warbeck became trapped at Taunton by Giles Daubeney. Warbeck was captured and executed at the Tower of London a year later.

Through bonds and recognisances, they would have to give around 1000 pounds, however they never had to pay but lived under constant fear they would have.
