Q

How do you measure with a metric ruler? How should you read/estimate a value between two small (millimeter) increments?

A

Tall increments (lines) - 1 cm
Small increments (lines) 1 mm
Reading a value between two small increments should be estimated with .05

example: if a measurement comes out to 2.3 cm and it goes past the 3rd small increment but not past the 4th, the (estimated) value is [2.35 cm]
