Governance?
The act of governing; it is what a government does and includes all the structures and processes involved in running a country or organization
Government?
A group of people with authority to govern a country or state
Government is the controls and administers the laws, policies and processes within a country
Society?
Society is an organised group of people forming a community
The constitution?
The constitution is a set of rules that controls the activities of an organisation, society or government structure
A citizen?
A citizen is a person with full rights in a country
Bill of rights?
The bill of rights lists the human rights that are protected by the constitution and can be found in the 2nd chapter of the constitution
Civil society?
Civil society is people from society that work for a particular cause.
Policy?
A policy is an organised group of people forming a community
By law?
Legislation passed at local government level
Constituents?
Constituents are made up of citizens who have voted for a public official and have given him or her the authority to present them
Mandate?
A mandate is the authority of an elected government or official to do the things that they promised to do before an election
