Dementia
- a syndrome, of a chronic and progressive nature with a decline in cognitive functions accompanied by deterioration in emotional control, language skills, and social behaviour.
- In most cases, the course is progressive and irreversible, and treatments are only minimally effective in slowing progression.
Symptoms of dementia include:
disorientation, memory loss, impaired judgment, intellectual and social functioning, personality change, and shallow and labile effect

Might have to do assessment in 10minute incriments. Not everyone can sit doen for a 10 minute period
