What causes death from DT

A

Not DT itself…

Tachycardia and Electrolyte imbalances like hypoMg/hypoP which can cause arrhythmia/dysthymia

Aspiration PNA

The effects of abusing alcohol itself:
-worsening pancreatitis leading to ARDS
-sepsis from necrotizing pancreatitis/decompensated cirrhosis(sbp)
