—mass lesion, metabolic causes ,infection

Treatment for delirium

A

Identify the underling cause
Maintain nutrition /hydration /electrolytes
Haloperidol for agitation treatment
Benzodiazepines is avoided unless if the cause of delirium is alcohol or benzodiazepine withdrawal
