Initial patient assessment (any assessment) or continuing assessments

What can you delegate to UAPs (unlicensed assistive personnel)
Care of stable patients only
ADL’s
Blood sugar
Vital signs

What can you delegate to floating RN?
Stable basic med/surg patients
Do not assign unit specific patients (like oncology, pediatrics)
Review competencies (aren’t allowed to take care of patients with specialty equipment)
