Signs and symptoms appear suddenly, persitst for a short time, then disappear
What is a chronic disease
Disease develops slowly, lasts a long time
What is a sub acute disease
Diseases with characteristics between acute and chronic
What is the difference between a sign and symptom
Symptoms are subjective (only felt by the patient), Signs are objective (can be seen or measured by someone other than the patient)
