What is concordance?
The shared decision making between a health professional and a patient about how medicines are taken. Taking into account beliefs and wishes of the patient.
Contra-indication
Reason to withhold a medication/treatment from a patient.
Pharmacology
The effect drugs have on the body and how the body metabolises drugs.
Pharmacokinetics
Branch of pharmacology concerned with the movement of drugs within the body - what the body does to the drug.
