Detention

A

The act of keeping back, restraining, or withholding an individual to investigate if criminal activity is afoot. A reasonable person would not feel free to leave. It cannot last longer than necessary to carry out the purpose of the stop/detention. REQUIRES REASONABLE SUSPICION.
