a body of law that outlines rules on settling disputes between individuals

The Rule of Law
The doctrine of the rule of law is one of the most important parts of the unwritten constitustion
Parliamentary Supremacy
means that parliament, or the legislature of a province, can make or unmake any law, and that no person or group of persons has a right to change or ignore these laws
Bona Fide Occupational Requirement
A qualification that would normally be considered discriminatory but is necessary for proper or efficient job performance
Accommodate
eliminate or adjust requirements or conditions to enable a person to carry out the essential duties of an activity or job
Constructive Discrimination
Employment polices that inadvertently exclude certain individuals, resulting in discrimination
Direct Discrimination
an overt act of discrimination
Compainant
The person making an allegation of discrimination
Respondent
The person or organization that the complaint alleges committed discrimination
