Second point of contact

A

Any conductive object providing an exit path for electrical current if the worker comes into contact with a source of electrical energy. Second point of contact could include, for example, earth ground, ground wires, grounded equipment, conductors at a different potential, pole hardware, trees, poles, and so forth.
