Lesion 1 signs and symptoms
- Unilateral facial weakness
- Eye on affected side remains open c lower eyelid sagging
- Bell’s phenomenon
- (-) Blink or corneal reflex
- (-) Whistle
- (-) Pursed lip
- (-) Wrinkle on forehead
- (-) Oculogyric Auricular reflex

1. Loss of taste in anterior 2/3 of the tongue
2. Crocodile tears

Stapedius Muscle

Includes symptoms of 1 & 2;
1. Hyperacusis
2. Increased acuity of hearing

Geniculate ganglion

• Pain behind ear
