Wanted responsible government because before they could not be vote and did not have a responsible government
Lower Canada wanted RG but government was dominated by English speaking men so were rebelling because they were the minority and didn’t get say in government

Canadians won(Americans thought they won but British/Canadians actually won
FN lost they lost their ability to govern themselves, their culture and their land FN represented by Tecumseh(honourable knew firsthand the tragedy of war) the FN were apprehensive to join cause because they fought in American Revolution and lost lots of land and lives little did they know that this would set them back even further
