A declaratory judgment is an authoritative and definitive statement by a Court regarding the rights, status, and legal relations of the parties involved.

How do you qualify for a declaratory judgment?
A
There are (4) elements:
1) Actual controversy
2) That is definitive and concrete
3) Between parties with adverse interests
4) Of sufficient immediacy/ripeness
