Aerobic Capacity
Ability of the heart, lungs, and blood vessels to supply oxygen and nutrients to the working muscles efficiently in order to sustain prolonged rhythmic exercises.
MUSCULAR STRENGTH
Ability of the muscle to generate force.
MUSCULAR ENDURANCE
Ability of the muscle to resist fatigue when performing multiple repetitions of submaximal load.
FLEXIBILITY
Ability to move a joint without pain over its entire range of motion.
BODY COMPOSITION
Refers to the total make-up of the body using the concept of two component models: lean body mass and the body fat.
AGILITY
The ability to change the direction of the body quickly and efficiently while maintaining control.
BALANCE
The ability to maintain control of the body’s position, whether stationary (static balance) or while moving (dynamic balance).
COORDINATION
The ability to use different parts of the body together smoothly and efficiently.
POWER
The ability to exert maximum force quickly. It is a combination of both strength and speed.
REACTION TIME
The time it takes to respond to a stimulus or trigger.
SPEED
The ability to move quickly across the ground or move limbs rapidly to grab or throw.
