(n.) - a noticeable and often unfair difference between people or things

(v.) - to cause (something) to happen faster
The judge announced that he would expedite the trial.
fabricate
(v.) - to create or make up (something, such as a story) in order to trick people
They were accused of fabricating the data for the study.

(adj.) - happening very soon
Their arrival is imminent.
precarious
(adj.) - not safe, strong, or steady
He earned a precarious livelihood by being a gambler.
The strong wind almost knocked him off of his precarious perch on the edge of the cliff.

(adj.) - causing a strong feeling of dislike or disgust; repulsive

(adj.) - very strict or severe — used to describe a command, rule, etc., that must be obeyed.
The stringent training by the Marines is well-known, and the results are highly impressive.
